The students were asked the names of various filmstars. Then the names of three Canossian heroines were discussed i.e
1) St. Magdalene
2) St. Bakhita
3)Our venerable Mother Fernanda Riva.
The life story of Mother Fernanda Riva was depicted especially when she was a student.
The following values were highlighted.
1) Ever Smiling
2) Self Sacrificing
3) Joyful Self-giving
4)Sharing without any expectations
5) Above all the hallmarks of Canossians : Simplicity and Humility.
The message of unity, truth , peace and love was sent across.
The power point on the life of Mother Fernanda was shown. This power point presentation helped the students to learn many aspects of the life of Mother Fernanda.
A small prayer of intercession was made to Mother Fernanda followed by the lighting of the candle by Sr. Fatima , our Principal.
Around 30 girls were involved in the concert.
Various Hymns were sung which were relevant to the skit/musical .
Thus we felt strengthened by the ever flowing grace of God received through the gift of God received through Mother Fernanda to our Canossian family.
